You might have to unpack it with Japanese name encoding. Aka. unpack with Japanese local set in windows, or use WinRAR or 7zip and set the name encoding before you unpack it.

Can also be that the program itself need to run under Japanese local (rarer these days). In that case windows set to japanese local, or run using a local emulator

can you elaborate, first time hearing this and never experienced that mega would fuck up files, furthermore you possibly can't know whether he used torrent or mega for download
