from scav: "the original english version was done by the author, who is chinese. it was highly broken english with grammar mistakes and so on, but it didn't really appear to be MTL, instead a genuine attempt at translating by the author. sadly it wasn't very good. props to the author for trying though!

this translation used the author's japanese version as the basis for the translation. the japanese also suffered from this strangeness (non-japanese ellipses, strange breaking up of kana compared to native japanese authors, oddly stiff language, etc). so we got a native chinese speaker to look over what we had and compared it to the base chinese version to make sure there were no oopsies, and everything seems to be okay."
